Ofcom has confirmed its decision to make the Wireless Telegraphy (Licence Charges) Regulations 2020 (the Regulations).
The Regulations now include the fees for the following three Wireless Telegraphy Act licence classes introduced since the regulations were last changed in 2016. The licence fees included are for:
- Local Access licences
- Shared Access licences
- Network 2 GHz licences
The Regulations replace the Wireless Telegraphy (Licence Charges) Regulations 2011 and the statutory instruments amending those regulations since 2011.
The 2020 Regulations consolidate all previous amendments into one document to simplify our fees instruments and reduce the regulatory burden on our stakeholders.
The Regulations will commence on 21 October 2020.
