NCC Releases Draft 5 Years Spectrum Roadmap And Draft Guidelines For The Use Of 60 GHz License Exempt Band For Multi Gigabit Wireless Systems

In exercise of its functions under the Nigerian Communications Act 2003 (NCA 2003) the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has published two regulatory drafts on its website https://www.ncc.gov.ng and the drafts can be accessed by clicking on the following links:

• Draft Spectrum Roadmap for the Communications Sector (2025 to 2030)
• Draft Guidelines for the use of 60 GHz License Exempt Band for Multi Gigabit Wireless Systems

Pursuant to Section 58 of the Act, according to a notice e-signed by the Head of Public Affairs at NCC, Nnenna Ukoha, December 19, 2025, the Commission invites interested stakeholders to review and make comments on both regulatory frameworks.

“All submissions must be received by the Commission no later than Friday, January 16, 2025,” sad the Commission.
