The second half of this year has arrived with news. Fibracem, a 100 per cent Brazilian industry, considered one of the main brands specialized in the optical communication market, is joining the Chinese telecommunications company Raisecom, in a partnership that will mainly serve the Brazilian corporate and data center market.
According to Fibracem’s Planning and Operations Director, Eryck El-Jaick, with joint work, Fibracem takes another step towards establishing itself as a reference also in the corporate and national data center market. According to him, the arrival of Raisecom should contribute significantly to providing customers with complete POL solutions, that is, both with assets and liabilities for the corporate market.
Also for the Fibracem executive, at this first moment, the company will start the partnership acting as a national distributor, being responsible for marketing products with both technologies [Fibracem and Raisecom] in the five regions of Brazil. “We have high expectations for this joint work, because in addition to the technology developed by Fibracem in the passive part, customers will also have access to active network products, in addition to the certainty of compliance with standards and processes established by the two giants of the sector”, adds Eryck.
As for the Commercial Director of Raisecom in Brazil, Victor Leonardo Manzan Fila, this will undoubtedly be an opportunity to enhance the brand name in Brazil, offering even more personalized and customized POL projects, seeking to serve in an increasingly assertive way. the needs of each customer.
“Fibracem’s operations started in the corporate market, so we are hopeful to have all the expertise of the brand, so that together we can contribute and speed up the improvements we have been working on for this segment”, says the Raisecom executive.
Turnkey projects on the rise
The Turnkey modality, which today is seen as one of the most demanded business models in the market today, consists of a type of contract in which only one supplier is hired to perform all the work [in this case, the supplier would be Fibracem]. Thus, through partnerships established between companies operating in the same segment, it would enable the participation of several other brands in the construction of the project, implementing their respective technologies.
In March of this year [2022], Fibracem started to focus with more emphasis on the Turn Key modality, for the corporate market, when it announced the joint work for the corporate market with the Swiss company Huber+Shuner (H+S). According to Eryck, now, with the arrival of Raisecom, the aim is to maximize the excellence factor in the solutions sought by corporations in Brazil.
