Palau National Communications Corporation(PNCC) has a dedicated team of six talented employees competing in the Pacific Mini Games, Cyber Era NG learns.

Their determination, skill, and teamwork , we gather, embody the spirit of the games, and PNCC says it is excited to support them as they represent Team Palau and team PNCC.

“Their commitment to excellence both in training and competition makes us proud, and we can’t wait to see them shine,” stated PNCC.

Below are  some of the athletes:

Christopher Ongrung, Cable Splicer, Plant & Technology – Archery

Christoper Tobal Ongrung has worked as a cable splicer in the PNCC Plant & Technology Department since 2017. His specialized responsibilities include installing, repairing, and troubleshooting cables, both copper and fiber optic, that are used for voice and data transmission throughout Palau. He graduated from MHS in 2009, studied Small Engine Technology at PCC, and before joining PNCC worked at Surangel and Sons.

As a member of Palau’s Archery Team, he has been competing in national and regional competitions since 2018, starting with representing Team Airai in the Belau Games, when he won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. Tobal said he likes the challenge of the focus required to hit the target and going up against the best Pacific athletes.

Lily Kerradel, Device & Distribution Manager, Sales & Marketing – Volleyball

Lily Kerradel, recently promoted to Device & Distribution Manager, joined PNCC in 2016 as a Customer Service Agent. In her current role, she is responsible for leading all retail sales through PNCC and reseller outlets of a variety of products and services, with a primary focus on Prepaid card distribution.

She graduated from Palau High School in 2003, and before joining PNCC worked at PPUC as a Customer Service representative.

Volleyball has been her passion outside of work since her teenage years, when she began competing in the Belau Games representing Ngaraard State, and then at several regional events. Last year at the Micro Games in the Marshall Islands, Lily Kerradel helped Team Palau Indoor Volleyball to win Silver as Assistant Coach for the men’s team, and Team Captain for the women’s team. She will continue to lead the team in these coaching roles for the Pacific Mini Games.
