Educating both health system employees and patients about basic cybersecurity measures is key to protecting against cyber attacks while still allowing patients to easily access their medical records, according to a report from LexisNexis Risk Solutions and Executives for Health Innovation.
The report, “Tackling Cybersecurity Threats Without Sacrificing Usability,” is based on input from a roundtable gathering of cybersecurity professionals, who considered how best to protect health systems from cyber attacks without compromising the quality of patient experience.
