ITS Releases Deadline On CFPs For Three Special Issues Of Telecommunications Policy

Chairman of the International Telecommunications Society(ITS) Dr. Jason Whalley, has made public an important announcement about the Calls for Papers for three upcoming special issues of Telecommunications Policy, Cyber Era NG learns, according to a heads-up received over email, from Don Romaniuk of the ITS Secretariat.

Dr. Whalley said: “Telecommunications Policy is one of the two journals of the International Telecommunications Society. There are currently three ‘live’ special issues of the journal that I’d like to draw your attention to. They are:

Celebrating 50 years of Telecommunications Policy: A retrospective and prospective view – this special issue is edited by Erik Bohlin and Jason Whalley. The full paper submission deadline for this special issue is 31 January 2026.

Digital sustainability in developing countries – this special issue is edited by Ping Gao, Yongruk Choi, Vladislav Fomin and Jiang Yu. The full paper submission deadline for this special issue is 20 February 2026.

Policy responses to Generative AI – this special issue is guest edited by Jonathan Omar, Christoph Lutz and Madelyn Sanfilippo. The full paper submission deadline for this special issue is 28 February 2026.”
