Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson delivered the 2023 Wash100 Award to president of General Dynamics Information Technology, Amy Gilliland during his recent visit to the latter’s company offices.

This is the sixth consecutive year that Gilliland was awarded the Wash100, which annually recognizes the top 100 key public and private sector individuals with demonstrated leadership, innovation, vision and means to shape the government contracting landscape in the coming years.

Gilliland’s 2023 selection is for her continued leadership in information technology modernization. She drove major government contract awards for GDIT that resulted in its record-high earnings.

Since being included in the Wash100 class in January, Gilliland has led another massive contract win for the General Dynamics subsidiary. GDIT secured a potential 12-year, US$1.79 billion contract from the US Army for flight simulation training support services. The executive also highlighted the company’s mental health awareness campaign in Virginia 500 spotlight.

Executive Mosaic looks forward to Gilliland’s continued IT leadership and where it will take GDIT next.
