The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) are committed to working together to promote sustainable global digital development.
“The Joint Declaration of Cooperation between ITU and OIF comes at a time when digital technology is becoming increasingly important on the international stage,” said ITU Secretary-General Doreen Bogdan-Martin. “It is a tool that should help accelerate connectivity and sustainable digital transformation within and beyond the French-speaking world.”
ITU Secretary-General signed the joint declaration with OIF Secretary-General Louise Mushikiwabo on 3 April in Paris, France.
