Furniture manufacturer and retailer DFS, which has 115 stores across the UK, has signed a deal to pilot digital product passports (DPPs).
“This pilot project, led by Technovative Solutions, will act as a blueprint for regulators, demonstrating how DPPs can be practically implemented and tailored to industry needs,” Technovative says.
“By collaborating with forward-thinking manufacturers like DFS, Technovative Solutions Ltd (TVS) and DigiProd Pass Ltd aims to showcase the transformative potential of DPPs in driving sustainability and circularity across industries.”
The announcement follows the news late last month that French retail brand Ligne Rosset is also to run a DPP pilot.
