Bed Bath & Beyond Promotes CTO Scott Lindblom To Chief Technology And Digital Officer Effective Immediately

Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. BBBY, said Thursday it is promoting its Chief Technology Officer Scott Lindblom to the role of chief technology and digital officer with immediate effect.

Lindblom will take responsibility for managing the retailer’s digital channel and will report directly to CEO Sue Gove.

Lindblom has held the role of CTO since September of 202, coming to the role from arts & crafts retailer Michael’s.

He has also done stints at Ross Stores Inc. ROST, +1.48 per cent and held senior roles at Best Buy Co. Inc. BBY, +1.32 per cent where he managed supply chain and IT functions. Bed Bath & Beyond stock was not active premarket but has fallen 76 per cent in the year to date, while the S&P 500 SPX, -0.31 per cent has fallen 17 per cent. https://www.marketwatch.com
