Ofcom has published in full the 45 applications it has received for the first round of small-scale DAB multiplex licensing.
Small-scale DAB is an innovative technology which provides a low-cost route for local commercial, community and specialist music stations to take to the airwaves.
Multiplex licences will be awarded by Ofcom in a competitive process, with each applicant judged against specified criteria.
Ofcom is now inviting comments on the applications. Please send feedback to smallscaledab@ofcom.org.uk
The closing date for comments is January 31, 2021.
