Earlier, the convener of the e-Government Summit & Awards,  Engr. Ajayi said that the Awards should not be perceived as a mere feat because it took 33,785 Nigerians to cast their votes for the selection of winners and a lot of mechanisms were put in place to ensure that no one voted twice.

Ajayi further affirmed that the “Award night belonged to, above all, the extraordinary Nigerians who have refused to accept the status quo in the delivery of government services…your nominations are not merely entries in a competition; they are testimonies. They are evidence of what is possible when public servants lead with vision, when technology leaders lead with purpose, when governors govern with ambition, and when individuals dedicate themselves to courses greater than themselves”.
