Two hundred people gathered at Telefónica’s corporate headquarters in Madrid to raise awareness of the disease and send their support to those who suffer from it and their families.
Every October 19, World Breast Cancer Day is commemorated, a day that, since it was established in 1988 by the World Health Organisation (WHO), seeks to raise awareness of this disease among the population.
Prevention involves promoting regular check-ups and raising awareness of the importance of research to improve early detection, which significantly increases the chances of cure.
