During the 2025 Pacific Mini Games, thanks to the generosity of the Australian Government, Australian Embassy – Palau, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and a Daily Highlights Program were broadcast regionally from Palau via Pacific Cooperation Broadcasting Limited of New Zealand (Pasifika TV), marking a historical first.
After the Games, Pasifika TV offered PNCC custodianship of their Live U 200 portable transmitters that were used for the live streaming and are linked to the PCBL network in New Zealand and around the Pacific region.
PCBL Broadcast Operations Manager, Karl Schodt said, “Now that the games are over we wanted to leave the units with yourselves. The main reason for this is if you have an event coming up that you want to share with the Pacific region then this provides an easy way to connect you to us.”
