Retail ISAC Releases CISO And Practitioner Cyber ‘Benchmark’ Reports, Expects Increased Investment In Security

The Retail and Hospitality ISAC has released its annual “CISO Benchmark Report,” finding widespread expectations of growing budgets among senior security officers, and a new “practitioner” report designed “to better understand the challenges and priorities staff have in executing daily job functions.”

“Information security teams have always had to do more with less, but 2023 might be the year when they are able to do more with more. Riding a three-year trend, 70 per cent of CISOs expect their budgets to increase.
