Ofcom Tuesday published a consultation proposing to revoke directions applying the Electronic Communications Code to the following companies, which have notified it that they no longer require Code powers and have requested they be revoked:
- Aylesbury Vale Broadband Ltd, Central North Sea Fibre Telecommunications Company Ltd, CityLink Telecommunications Ltd, Geo Metro Ltd, Geo Networks Ltd, Lonsdale Network Services Ltd, Open Fibre Networks (Wholesale) Ltd (formerly Independent Fibre Networks Ltd), Ranston Farm Partnership, Telensa Ltd, Timico Partner Services Ltd, Tiscali UK Ltd, and Zayo Infrastructure (UK) Ltd.
Ofcom said: “We are also proposing to revoke directions applying the Code to the following companies, which have either been closed or dissolved and, consequently, are no longer the provider of an electronic communications network and/or system of infrastructure:
- AB Internet Ltd, Bytel Networks Ltd, Centric Telco Ltd, Energis Local Access Ltd, Eurobell (South West) Ltd, Eurobell (Sussex) Ltd, Eurobell (West Kent) Ltd, Infolines Public Network Ltd, Interoute Vtesse Ltd, M3COM (UK) Ltd and Smallworld Cable Ltd.
