Cloud-based video supply chain company Ownzones has announced the appointment of Rick Capstraw as its new chief revenue officer.
The exec will be charged with leading the global sales organisation of the company and accelerating its worldwide growth.
Capstraw joins from Verizon Media Platform where he served as the global head of sales. He has also held management roles at a number of other companies including CNET Networks, The Walt Disney Company and Ticketmaster.
In a release, Ownzones complimented Capstraw’s track record of leadership throughout his career in delivering technology solutions in global markets.
Ownzones CEO Dan Gorman said: “We are enormously happy that Rick is joining the company at such a dynamic time. We are seeing a huge uptick in interest as media organisations start to move out of pandemic mode and look to capitalise on the opportunities that exist in the post-Covid landscape, and are delighted to have someone of Rick’s caliber to help guide us through this next period of substantial growth.”
