As the EBRD celebrates the 30th anniversary of its founding this April, multilateral action has never been more important for global development as it is a vital component in the world’s efforts to deal with the health and economic impacts of the COVID-19 crisis, as well as the climate change emergency.
To this end, a teleconference is coming on Tuesday, March 30, at 13:00-14:00 London time 9:00-10:00 US East Coast time between EBRD President Odile Renaud-Basso and President of the Center for Global Development (CGD), Masood Ahmed.
They both will be discussing the EBRD’s new five-year strategy, the recovery from the coronavirus pandemic and the Bank’s plans for the green economy, promoting equality of opportunity and advancing the digital transformation.
