Vodafone Idea is to shut down 3G services in Delhi on January 15, 2021. The telco said it will continue to offer 2G services in Delhi & NCR.
However, its 3G services will be shut down by 15 January 2021, according to media reports and Vi has already started notifying its Delhi & NCR subscribers to upgrade to a 4G SIM to continue to enjoy services uninterrupted.
Vi last month migrated 3G spectrum to 4G across all sites in Mumbai, Maharashtra to enhance Vi GIGAnet 4G capacity in the city, and had deployed a band spectrum of 5 MHz of 2100 MHz to increase the total 4G bandwidth.https://telecom.economictimes.indiatimes.com
