EBRD Convenes Webinar On Inequality During And After The Coronavirus Pandemic

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is organising a virtual discussion on: inequality during and after the coronavirus pandemic.

The virtual discussion will be highlighted by Nobel Prize laureate in Economics and Senior Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson School Nobel Prize laureate in Economics and Senior Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson School, Sir Angus Deaton, Presidential Professor at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York Professor Branko Milanovic, EBRD Chief Economist Beata Javorcik and EBRD MD Communications Jonathan Charles. The discussion will be opened by EBRD President Odile Renaud-Basso.

“Inequality during and after the coronavirus pandemic“ will be broadcast live on EBRD Facebook on January 20, 15:00-16:30 ( London time/ GMT).

Professor Deaton’s latest book “Deaths of Despair” is co-written with Anne Case and is a ground breaking account of how the flaws in capitalism are fatal for America’s working class.
