Wednesday, at the Qualcomm Smart Cities Accelerate 2020 event, Qualcomm announced the Qualcomm® Smart Campus in San Diego, a complete end-to-end offering replicating a smart city environment in a campus.
Qualcomm’s Smart Campus includes a 5G network, multiple verticals with a variety of intelligent capabilities, comprehensive support for IoT-enabled parking, lighting, transportation, logistics, trash cans, and edge-AI cameras for security.
All capabilities can be viewed and controlled via an app and corresponding command and control center, which serves as the nerve center of the entire operation.
