China’s Tecno, a Transsion Holdings company, on Friday launched the Tecno Pova smartphone at a starting price of Rs 9,999(US$135.49),, in partnership with e-commerce giant Flipkart.
China’s Tecno, a Transsion Holdings company, on Friday launched the Tecno Pova smartphone at a starting price of Rs 9,999, in partnership with e-commerce giant Flipkart.
The Tecno Pova features a 6.8-inch dot-in screen and 20.5:9 aspect ratio with a 1640 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution, 480 nits brightness, and 90.4 per cent screen to body ratio.
It houses an 8MP AI camera at the front. At the rear, the smartphone packs a quad-camera setup comprising a 16MP primary camera assisted by a 2MP+2MP+AI lens.
India’s telecom sector, in the efforts of enabling policies including more quantum of the spectrum, is set to establish new benchmarks in the next-generation network deployments and service delivery.
The Tecno Pova is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor clocked at 2GHz and an ARM G52 950Mhz GPU. It packs a 6000mAh LiPo battery with an in-box 18W dual IC flash charger, and it claims to provide a standby time of upto 30 days. It sports the new HiOS 7.0
It is available in two variants, namely–4GB RAM+64GB storage and 6GB RAM+128GB storage, priced at Rs 9,999 Rs 11, 999, respectively.
The Pova smartphone comes in three colors, namely–Dazzle black, Magic Blue, and Speed Purple . It will go on sale from 11 December, 12 noon onwards on Flipkart.
