NCC Collocates With Global Peers As Annual Washington DC Conference, Webinar Holds 8 – 10 December 2020

The International Institute of Communications(IIC) has announced that independent telecommunications, media and technology(TMT) regulatory authorities, including but not limited to USA’s FCC, UK’s Ofcom and Nigeria’s NCC, will grace its Annual Washington DC Conference holding online from December 8-10, 2020, information from IIC’s Director-General, Lynn Robinson, says.

Holding under the theme: The re-start agenda: Retuning policy making and regulation to underpin TMT’s role in societal resilience, digital transformation and the revitalising of economies globally, the webinar

is billed to host lively discussions next in which stakeholders namely regulators – telco, content, competition and privacy – from industry and academia from 6 continents at the highest of levels would be represented.

The webinar starts December 8 with keynotes followed by panels focusing on:

platform regulation – Google, BNetzA Germany, Stanford University, Vodafone, ACMA Australia

communications infrastructure evolution – Microsoft, Ofcom UK, Ericsson, NTIA, Facebook
