Internet giant Facebook Saturday said it has partnered with Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) to offer video-on-demand content of the Indian national cricket team’s Australian tour on the Facebook Watch platform.
Facebook has already started offering the content from 27 November 2020.
Three ODIs, three T20Is, and four Tests in relation to the said video-on-demand match content will be provided by Sony Pictures (India) under the terms of the partnership agreement.
India’s telecom sector, in the efforts of enabling policies including more quantum of the spectrum, is set to establish new benchmarks in the next-generation network deployments and service delivery.
The range of content will also include match highlights, in-play moments, best wickets, and man of the match amongst others, and will feature on Sony Sports India’s Facebook page.
