Consumers set to benefit from broadband price war between Jio and AirtelNew Delhi: Consumers are set to benefit from a broadband price war that has broken out between telecom companies, with charges slashed by about 40 per cent.
After Reliance Jio’s strategy of ultra-low pricing for its JioFiber bundled offers, Bharti Airtel came out with an almost similar price cut for Airtel Xstream plans on Sunday.
JioFiber and Airtel Xstream now offer data plans starting at Rs 399 and Rs 499, respectively, each cheaper by Rs 300. The plans also offer faster data speeds, higher data allowances and bundled subscriptions to streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar and Amazon Prime. https://telecom.economictimes.indiatimes.com
