Questex, the organizer of the StreamTV Show has announced its postponement due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally scheduled to run June 1-3, 2020, the event has been rescheduled to October 5-7, 2020, at the Marriott Tech Hotel in Denver, CO.USA.
Details of the show postponement are contained in a communication signed by Questex’s Vice President, Telecom, Media & Technology Group, Kevin Gray.
According to Gray: “We are facing an unprecedented health situation. The Federal government has asked that no more than ten people gather in one place due to COVID-19, and the Governor of Colorado has recommended the cancellation of all public gatherings of more than 250 people. Due to the COVID-19 circumstances, we were forced to postpone the StreamTV Show.
“We recognize the impact that the postponement has on the next gen video programming distribution community. However, the health and safety of the next gen video programming distribution community, and the broader community, is vitally important and it makes the event postponement unavoidable.”
Gray says that The Marriott Tech Hotel in Denver, CO is the new venue for the event adding Questex will provide updates regarding a new room block and rates at the Marriott Tech Hotel shortly.
